By the time they hit 1 to 8 years age, many declawed cats are out-of-control. Most declawed cat owners had not been informed of what the operation entailed or any risks associated with declawing. Even though it is outlawed as extremely inhumane in most European countries and many other countries in the world, it is a shame so many owners in North America still have no knowledge of how dangerous this amputation is.
