The Balinese is a Siamese cat with a longhair, silky, ermine coat.  They require very little grooming than other longhaired cats, because they do not have the thicker, triple-coat of other longhairs like Maine Coons and Persians.  History of the Balinese is the same as that for the Siamese, because they originated as a spontaneous longhaired mutation of the Siamese cat.  It is an ancient, natural breed.

Maiyah is Siamese Cat Breeders with Siamese Kittens in Ontario, Canada near Michigan.  CFA winning Siamese cats and Siamese kittens are shown on their website.

The Turkish Van is a natural breed, not man-made.  Often referred to as Swimming Cats, the Turkish Van originates from Eastern Turkey, and is associated with the area around Lake Van from which it gets its name. The "red gene" is believed to have originated around 1,500 years ago, somewhere in western Asia.  Traditionally Turkish Vans are auburn/white; also there are black/white and the various tortie and/or tabby combinations.  Dilute colors include blue/white, and cream/white, cream being a dilute form of auburn which is much lighter in color.
