Which
kittens are available? The
kittens are here
Are
they available? Yes they are. The website is continuously updated, and
kittens who have already been paid for are listed as "sold".
Want
to be Notified about new kitten photos? The Verismo Mailing List
will provide you with notification of new photos of kittens as they grow older
or are initially placed on the site.
Others Kittens available or coming? If you want to
know when I will have different sex or colors that are not currently available,
just sign up for the Verismo Mailing List,
because I don't know (when or what) either; or just keep coming back and
checking.
Pricing:
My girls are priced $1300 to $1500, and boy kittens and any young adult males
for pets are $2300 to $2500.
Verismo cats, both young and adult, are neutered or spayed before they go
into their new homes; there is an additional charge for this of $200 for the
girls and $100 for the boys.
There is no additional discount for so-called "pet quality", as this
is already the price for all of my kittens.
I breed the best for all of my cats, and I socialize and pay attention
to each and every one equally. I only give commitments on kittens when a
payment has been received; I prefer the initial payment to be half the kitten's
price. A non-refundable deposit is part of the initial payment, which ranges from $300 - $500, depending on the cost of the kitten.

Location:
Verismo is now located in Champaign, IL. Champaign has a regional airport and is close to airports in Springfield and Bloomington, IL. I am happy to bring a kitten to a nearby airport if you choose to fly somewhere close to Champaign where you may find less expensive tickets. |
|
If you can drive here from the US or Canada, I will gladly e-mail you the best
driving directions after you contract on a kitten and/or help you with
identifying good hotel locations on your trip.
Airline
Travel: If you are too far to drive, you can fly
here, and then fly your kitten back home
on-board the cabin. I am happy to pick up people from the airport and bring them back with their kitten or bring their kitten to the airport.
It is possible that the airline will require a health certificate, which I am happy to provide through my veterinarian's office. The airlines require a paid additional
reservation for the cat on the return flight, which usually runs $50 - $75.
Verismo Policy is: No shipping
of unattended kittens as freight or cargo. Verismo is not a Breeding-Shipper.
Unattended shipping or flying is not an option, because
the best option for such a kitten is for you yourself to fly the kitten attended,
on-board the passenger cabin, at any day of year.
Health:
My Maine Coons, both young and adult, are always neutered or spayed (and post-op
recovered from that for at least 10 days) before they
go into their new homes. They are given the opportunity to recover and be
monitored here in the home of their raising, which is better for them. If you are looking for a special exception to this neutering timing, please shop
elsewhere!
Here are four links about the timing of neutering;
these are the best sources available:
After
reviewing it, if you still have a problem or have any reason for wanting an
exception to neutering, please shop elsewhere!
My cats will always be checked by a veterinarian and, of course the kittens are always
up-to-date on their distemper boosters. They are typically ready to go to
new homes around 3 1/2 months of age. However, depending on the
timing, an additional, future kitten booster for distemper (FVRCP) may be
recommended (by myself) for you to follow up on after you have had the kitten.
Please
be prepared to talk about your personal information: such as your preferences of any of the
kittens available, your background and knowledge an beliefs about cats, and the
location you are responding from.
If you would like to call,
Susan will be available most evenings
to take serious inquiries at 404-805-1799.
